Director of Mobilization

ECMI-USA – Who we are

The European Christian Mission International (ECMI) is a multinational, interdenominational mission agency comprising a network of people with different backgrounds and functions but the same Vision: to see the peoples of Europe transformed in the name of Christ!

Our Mission is to establish and develop reproducing churches, that evangelize and disciple the peoples of Europe. We do this by establishing loving and multiplying communities of Christ followers (Church Planting) who meet the spiritual and physical needs of their communities (Outreach) and who journey with those who seek God (Discipleship).

ECMI’s current strategic priorities are 1) to focus on discipleship and church planting for all today’s Europeans; 2) make the most of partnerships at every level; 3) mobilize, train, empower and mentor younger leaders; and 4) speak prophetically into our European contexts.

ECMI-USA is one of many national mobilization teams throughout the world – working in concert with ECMI leadership headquartered in the UK. The ECMI-USA has the primary purpose to recruit, deploy, and care for short-term and long-term missionaries and workers. Other functional areas within ECMI-USA, such as HR, operations, communications, media and finance, all support the primary purpose – to mobilize people to serve in Europe.

Other missions may share the same vision - even the same purpose - but the following shared values establish the unique culture of ECM.

ECM’s four values are: (1) a life oriented to God, (2) integrity and mutual respect in our relationships, (3) mission to the peoples of Europe through church planting, and (4) collaboration. They are expressed in simple, modern language as UP, IN, OUT, TOGETHER, but they rest on ancient foundations, namely the four marks of the church as expressed in the Nicene Creed.

You will also create and implement the strategies for a robust mobilization program. As the leader of mobilization, you will represent ECMI-USA at appropriate mobilization venues/ events and maintain an active online web and social media presence. You can anticipate traveling 25% of the year and making at least one trip to Europe each year to get first hand exposure to the needs and activities of the field.
